Therapeutic Riding Program Honors Doug Flutie Family,
Lowell Spinners' Webers,
and "Volunteer of the Year" at November 4th Gala

Andover, MA - Challenge Unlimited at Ironstone Farm, a renowned therapeutic riding program for over 25 years, will host its annual "Spirit of Giving" gala on Saturday, November 4th, at the Andover Country Club. This year's theme is "The Future is Ours…Embrace the Possibilities!"

Honored at this year's event will be Doug and Laurie Flutie and their family for their legacy of support through the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism, Lowell Spinners owners Joann and Drew Weber for bringing families and friends together in the spirit of American sports, and "Volunteer Extraordinaire" Frank Forlizzi for his generous gifts of time, energy, and encouragement.

Master of Ceremonies Butch Stearns of Fox News Sports will lead the black-tie event which includes dinner, dancing, visits by the Lowell Spinners' Gator Family and the Red Sox' Wally, and a live auction led by Susan Wornick of ABC and WCVB. A cocktail reception kicks off the evening at 6:30. Sponsorships and tickets are still available.

Challenge Unlimited is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people with and without disabilities learn life skills through a variety of programs centered on horse-related activities. It was created out of the Donovan Family's desire to share the benefits of their Ironstone Farm and the use of their horses with a community of people whose lives have been challenged with disability. The program grew through the hard work and dedication of volunteers who unselfishly gave of their time and energy in the same spirit of giving begun by the Donovans. Today, Challenge Unlimited relies on the generosity of our extended family to support its continued service to the community. We celebrate this generosity by honoring individuals who epitomize the Ironstone Farm "Spirit of Giving."
